Governador: “O nosso agro é forte e está preparado para qualquer mudança global”

O governador Mauro Mendes afirmou que a força do agronegócio mato-grossense irá superar qualquer adversidade que possa vir a acontecer em nível global, por conta da guerra econômica protagonizada pelos EUA.

Durante a abertura da feira agropecuária Norte Show, em Sinop, na noite desta segunda-feira (15/04), Mauro destacou que os produtores mato-grossenses sempre souberam superar desafios para se manter competitivos.

“Muita gente fica tentando imaginar a consequência disso para o Brasil e para Mato Grosso. Em um primeiro momento, podemos vender até mais para a China por conta desse conflito deles com os EUA. Eu acho que a maior resposta é falar sobre as nossas competências e as nossas capacidades de enfrentar os nossos desafios. E foi assim que Mato Grosso saiu de onde saiu e chegou onde está”, registrou.

O governador lembrou que Mato Grosso se tornou o maior produtor de alimentos do país, mesmo com várias dificuldades, como a distancia dos portos e uma grande malha rodoviária ainda não asfaltada.

“Não importa qual seja o desdobramento dessa crise global: nós aqui no estado de Mato Grosso estamos muito bem preparados para continuarmos sendo competitivos. Com dólar alto, dólar baixo, um pouco mais de chuva, um pouco menos de chuva, porque foi assim que durante algumas décadas nós enfrentamos todas essas adversidades”, frisou.

De acordo com Mauro Mendes, além da capacidade dos produtores, o Governo de Mato Grosso também tem sido um grande parceiro para o fortalecimento do setor.

“Hoje tudo o que o produtor paga de Fethab [Fundo de Transporte e Habitação] está retornando em investimentos, e ainda aportamos mais recursos na infraestrutura. Vamos mais que dobrar a quantidade de asfalto até 2026. A BR-163, que era um pesadelo, está com mais de 100 quilômetros entregues e muitas frentes de obras em andamento. Temos a ferrovia, que no próximo ano já vai ter o primeiro trecho concluído. Mato Grosso hoje é um exemplo de Brasil que dá certo”, completou.
