O MT Hemocentro divulgou o calendário de ações para o mês de abril, com a realização de coletas internas e externas, para atender doadores que não podem comparecer à sede da unidade.
Para aqueles que não podem realizar doações nos dias úteis, a unidade realizará uma coleta no terceiro sábado do mês, dia 19.
Além das coletas itinerantes, o Hemocentro realiza coleta de sangue regular de segunda a sexta-feira das 7h30 às 18 horas, na sede da unidade, localizada na Rua 13 de Junho, em Cuiabá, para manter os estoques abastecidos.

“Doações de todos os tipos sanguíneos são essenciais para mantermos o estoque estável, mas atualmente estamos precisando de doações do tipo O-. Se você apresentou sintomas de arboviroses e já tem mais 60 dias desde os primeiros sintomas, já está apto para a doação”, disse a diretora do MT Hemocentro, Gian Carla Zanela.
Para ser doador de sangue, é necessário ter entre 16 e 69 anos e 11 meses, pesar mais de 50 quilos, estar em bom estado de saúde e ter uma alimentação saudável.
Quem quiser doar sangue deve comparecer à unidade portando um documento oficial com foto.
Para menores de 18 anos, é obrigatório apresentar um documento assinado pelo pai, mãe ou responsável legal.
De acordo com o Ministério da Saúde, homens podem fazer até quatro doações por ano, com intervalo de dois meses entre cada uma. Já as mulheres podem doar sangue três vezes ao ano, com intervalo de três meses entre cada doação.
As doações são seguras e levam cerca de 60 minutos para serem realizadas. Não é recomendado doar sangue em jejum, realize alimentação leve e equilibrada antes de doar.
Neste mês, estão previstas coletas itinerantes ou externas no 44º Batalhão (1 a 3); no Hospital São Benedito (3 e 4); Família Borralho (9 e 10); Bom Futuro (9, 10 e 14); Igreja Adventista do Bairro Araés – Projeto Vidas por Vidas (12); UFMT – Instituto de Saúde Coletiva (15 a 17); na sede do MT Hemocentro (19, das 7h30 às 12h) e na Assembleia Legislativa (22 a 25); além de Chapada dos Guimarães (23 a 25).
